Eye Floater I Have Had A Floater In My Eye For Over A Week. Is There Any Known Way To Get Rid Of The Condition?

I have had a floater in my eye for over a week. Is there any known way to get rid of the condition? - eye floater

I went to the ophthalmologist. He said that my vision is good, with the exception of the float. He also said that I could do nothing. This will be with me for the rest of my life. The float makes me crazy. Are there any known cure?

  1. It could be a sign of retinal detachment. If your ophthalmologist has no solution, go to the other. There may be serious.

  2. If the eye is dilated and the retina, and check whether it's ok, ok .... but if not specifically on the retina, perhaps you should have that control. Sometimes the tears of the retina and filter the liquid because of what appears to be a "floating". Torn retina (I had happen to me, in each eye ruptured), and there is a problem, Lazar, and you're good to go. Please do not take chances with your vision. Although you might be more or hovering like a dark curtain coming to your line of sight, please, please go to the doctor, who most likely have a tear retiana be treated immediately. Torn retina with my past, I had no curtain, just a few black spots (such as through a dirty window), the first time that the "curtain" effect, so be careful anyway. In fact, the two times I did Lasar (very fast and easy) and I'm good. Best wishes.

  3. I would not do much .... for a detached retina worries I began to float around 35 years (and I have many), which concerns me. My doctor assured me that it is a normal part of aging and, finally, you will receive, with which it is being. From now on, I see the whole time he was a few years ago and have been a part of my vision. The only time you should be worrying about whether a retinal detachment several flashes of light and sparks start to their vision of small particles floating in the eye to retinal detachment is not impossible!

  4. Ophthalmologist full of garbage. Jump to another and say that you want for a diagnosis of retinal detachment. Start of new floaters can be signs of a serious illness optical
